Healthy Kids Learn Better!

Let's Build a Culture of Wellness.

Learn about the Healthy School Meals for All policy
and the movement to feed all of RI's public school children for free.
RI Healthy Schools Coalition,
with our many school and community partners, has a singular vision.
We are committed to making all RI schools
healthy places for children to learn, grow and thrive.
Picture
Our work is grounded in a Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) framework that recognizes the critical roles of school and community in meeting the physical, mental, and social-emotional needs of children.

RIHSC is a connector, a communicator, a convener and an advocate.  We are engaged at the school, community and state level and believe that through commitment and partnership, we can best realize our shared vision for

healthy, safe and supportive schools,
healthy and successful students &
healthy, strong and thriving communities.

We support the RI school community through our partnerships, program collaborations,
