SERVICES, PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES

PARTNERSHIPS, OUTREACH & COMMUNICATIONS

RIHSC plays an active role as a connector and convener in the RI school wellness community.

Our many relationships, within school districts and with state and community partners, are strengthened by our active participation in district wellness meetings and through collaboration with community partners.  These connections continually expand as we engage people and organizations on social media, through our monthly e-newsletter and through initiatives that address the health and wellness needs of school communities.

Your participation is welcome and valuable!

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

RIHSC offers guidance and personalized technical assistance to all RI district wellness committees and schools.

Whether it’s working with school leadership and sharing resources and tools to develop and implement comprehensive wellness policies, sharing national and local best practices and strategies for promoting healthy bodies and minds or providing school-based programs for students and staff with our partner organizations, we are prepared to help schools achieve their wellness goals.  Email Karin Wetherill for more information.
