Did you know that RIHSC provides FREE guidance and technical assistance to all schools in Rhode Island?
(That's over 145,000 students!)

Will you help support our work?

  • A nominal $36 tax-deductible donation is like giving $1 to help each RI school district (there’s 36 of them)!  But a donation of any amount allows us to continue our work and maximize the impact we have within our school communities.
  • We directly assist all of our 36 public school districts, plus charter and other schools.  We participate in district wellness committee meetings all over RI and provide resources, guidance and inspiration for new wellness initiatives and stronger wellness policies.
  • We organize an annual Breakfast for School Leaders program which convenes over 300 school and community wellness leaders and provides a forum for people to learn what’s new and share what’s working for school improvements in nutrition and physical activity.
  • We regularly engage with our school wellness advocates by sharing relevant wellness news from across the state and nation, by providing tools and resources to implement and monitor wellness activities and policies, and by suggesting grant and training opportunities through our comprehensive website, our monthly e-newsletter and frequent social media posts.
  • We act as the catalyst for collaborations among our many partner organizations that support school programming and advocacy statewide.

Please give what you can – there’s so much more to do!
